  1. I know that part of the American Revolution was about the freedom of the Colonists in the thirteen colonies. The Colonists wanted to be free from the wrath of the King. They didn't like not having a voice so on their way to the New Land, the passengers decided to have not one ruler, but many voices of reason. The King of England was furious that some of his people were not obeying him so he raised prices on English goods like tea and parchment. The Boston Tea Party was a riot-like event, which included settlers going onto the British ships dressed as Indians, and destroying the boxes of loose tea. The women were left at home, not part of this revolt like men were, so they started a little protest themselves. They vowed not to drink tea until the Act was over. I would like to know more about what happened in the different Acts and what the settlers did to protest these awful doings from the King.
